In this episode, I delve into an essential topic that weighs heavily on my heart: the immense pressures facing today’s youth and how we, as adults, can better support them. Conscious Investor, it’s easy to see that many kids today are navigating a world filled with expectations, from excelling in academics and extracurriculars to developing every kind of "intelligence." I share my insights on how activity overload and performance-based parenting can impact young people, often creating unnecessary stress. Rather than scripting every part of their lives, we can foster an environment that lets them explore their unique paths, discovering who they are with our guidance rather than under our control.
I also discuss the critical role of acceptance and authenticity in parenting and mentorship. Our kids are watching us, absorbing how we handle disagreements, navigate social pressures, and live out our values.
