In this episode of the Conscious Investor Podcast, I dive into a transformative perspective on productivity and goal-setting. For many of us high achievers, we often believe that more productivity and lofty goals are the keys to success. But what if that constant grind is actually leading to burnout instead of fulfillment? I share how burnout stems from having high expectations with little control over achieving them, and I introduce a new approach—aligning our goals with our deepest wishes. These wishes are not easily attainable, but they are rooted in who we are and meant to guide us toward greater fulfillment.
Instead of focusing solely on productivity, I encourage you, conscious investor, to explore your wishes, nurture your belief in them, and take committed action. This isn’t about abandoning goals, but about approaching them from a place of passion, inspiration, and purpose. By doing this, we can avoid burnout and find joy in the process, making our pursuits feel more like a meaningful journey rather than a sterile task list.
